WHAT ARE SALT AND PEPPER DIAMONDS?
For many years salt and pepper diamonds have been seen as undesirable, but more recently are gaining popularity due to them being a more budget-friendly alternative stone as well as for their unique colors and characteristics. Salt and pepper diamonds include many different types of flaws which makes them extremely unique! These flaws can include graining, bearding, clouding, cracks and inclusions, chips, pinpoints, wisps, and even other crystals growing inside the gem. The color itself can also vary greatly - anywhere from extremely dark and almost black in appearance, to gray and icy in color.
Please note that neither the unique characteristics nor the color of particular stones can be controlled and we do not offer free stone replacements due to the aesthetic and natural variation that will occur.
Because salt and pepper diamonds can be difficult to source, please be aware that we cannot guarantee an exact ship date and it may take longer than our standard 8 week production time. If you are on a time constraint and would like to confirm shipping dates prior to purchasing please send us an email!
Because many of our rings have natural materials in them (such as wood, antler, etc.) they do require more care than a traditional solid gold wedding band. We recommend you remove your ring for:
- Any water exposure (including handwashing) - Using household chemicals, hand sanitizer, or any other harsh chemicals - Any manual labor - Anything that might incur impact damage such as hitting your ring on hard surfaces or dropping it
Engagement Rings
- Remove your ring for any manual labor (especially anything that includes gripping items tightly such as furniture, free weights, etc.) - Remove your ring when using cosmetics, household chemicals, hand sanitizer, or any other harsh chemicals

SIZING GUIDELINES
We offer a free ring sizing kit at the time of purchasing a ring, which ensures you receive one free resize as long as we are contacted within 15 days of you receiving the ring! If you did not use our free ring sizer, or are reaching out after the 15 days, please contact us and we’d love to help you get your sizing figured out!
Because we know many people want to keep some aspect of their proposal a surprise we offer one free lifetime resize on all women's engagement rings, regardless of the free sizing kit being used, so that you don't have to ask for her ring size and give away the fact that you're ordering the ring soon. If a ring tracer or ring guard was bought at the same time as the engagement ring, you will also receive one free resize for those as well.
If ordering in TUNGSTEN or CERAMIC please note those are comfort fit bands and you must be sized appropriately. The rest of our rings are standard fit.

RETURNS, EXCHANGES, CANCELLATIONS & PRODUCTION TIMES
Returns & Exchanges
We do accept returns and exchanges as long as we are contacted within 15 days of receiving the ring, and the ring is returned in perfect condition.
Custom rings may receive 100% store credit OR a 40% refund.
Lead Times
Our lead time for rings that are made to order is 3 weeks if set in Titanium, Black Zirconium, Damascus Steel, Tungsten, or Ceramic (and do not contain any silver or gold), 6 weeks for rings containing Gold or Silver and up to 8 weeks on women's engagement and wedding rings, or any rings which contain precious stones. Custom rings can take longer than our 8 week production time.
Miscellaneous
Please note that the interior of most rings will be engraved with our antler logo and the metal type of the ring you are purchasing.
If purchasing a stone from the Staghead Mine please note that we do not send the loose stone.
Each ring we sell comes with a free warranty! This includes free cleanings, polishings, and even re-sealing the protective coating that is placed over the natural materials in your ring. For engagement rings, it also includes free ring inspections and prong tightenings to ensure your stones are secure!
Extended Lifetime Warranty
This extended warranty, which can be purchased with the ring, provides you a lifetime of free repairs in the event the natural materials in your ring become damaged. We will replace them, no questions asked, and as long as the metal base itself is not damaged it will be completely covered!
It also includes one free lifetime resize as long as our free ring sizer was used at the time of purchase, 60% off a new ring design in the event you don’t love your ring design, and 20% off a new ring if the metal base is damaged beyond repair.
Got this for my 15 year anniversary after admiring it for years. It's beautiful and I have received so many compliments in the two weeks I've had it. I communicated with Staghead a couple of times before purchasing, they were quick to respond and gave full answers to all my questions. I also took advantage of their free sizers, which was a wonderful service and very easy to return after deciding on my size.

Near Perfection!!
Both the engagement ring and the wedding ring came out perfect.
The salt and pepper diamond is exactly what she wanted. She can't stop staring at it. The craftmanship can't be understated. The rings flow wonderfully from the crisp corners of the triangle portion to the smooth edge of the round portion. And it shipped in half of the time that was expected. The only bad thing I have to say is I had requested a status update about half way through the lead time, just to see how things were going or if any issues came up. I got a generic response saying the ring was due to ship as expected. Well I then got the shipping notification a day later, 4 weeks early. So it threw me off. But other than that minor thing, a great ring was received. Thank you so much for being the start of our life together!

Although it was beautiful when it arrived soon after stones started to fall out. This is a ring that was to be worn every day and not taken off. The quality just isn’t there.
